2Unter dem Archon Euthios; die Aiantis hatte die zwölfte
3Prytanie inne, für die Nausimenes S.d. Nausikydes aus (dem Demos)
4CholargosVII Sekretär war; im Skirophorion am alten und
5neuen, dem neunundzwanzigsten (Tag) der Prytanie; Volks-
6versammlung; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung - - - S.d. - -
7on aus dem Demos Athmonon und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss des
8Volkes; Kallias S.d. Lysimachos aus dem Demos Hermos stellte den Antrag: Worüber
9Bericht erstatten die Prytanen der Aigeis, nämlich über die Opfer,
10die sie opferten vor den Volksversammlungen - - -,
11zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen das Volk: dass man das Gute
12billige, das nach ihrem Bericht geschehen ist für
13das Heil und die Rettung des Rates und des Volkes
14der Athener; – Da aber die Prytanen der Aiantis
15die Opfer geopfert haben in guter und ehrgeiziger Weise und sie auch
16Sorge getragen haben für alles andere, was ihnen verordnet
17war: dass man belobige die Prytanen der Aigeis
18wegen ihrer Gerechtigkeit und ihres Ehrgeizes für das Volk
19und sie bekränze mit goldenem Kranz gemäß
20dem Gesetz; dass diesen Beschluss der Sekretär,
21der während der Prytanie amtiert, aufzeichne auf eine steinerne Stele
22und aufstelle bei dem Bouleuterion; dass für die Aufzeichnung
23auf die Stele die Finanzverwalter 10 Drachmen
24begleichen.

2In the archonship of Euthios, in the twelfth
3prytany, of Aiantis, for which Nausimenes son of Nausikydes of
4Cholargos was secretary; on the old and new day of
5Skirophorion, the twenty-ninth of the prytany. Assembly.
6Of the presiding committee - - - son of
7- -on of Athmonon was putting to the vote and his fellow presiding committee members. The People
8decided. Kallias son of Lysimachos of Hermos proposed: concerning what the
9the prytany of Aiantis reports about the sacrifices
10which they made before the Assemblies - - -,
11for good fortune, the People shall decide: the People shall accept
12the good things they declare occurred for
13the health and preservation of the the Council and the Athenian
14People; and since the prytany of Aiantis
15have performed their sacrifices well and with love of honour and
16have managed everything else for which they were responsible,
17to praise the prytany of Aiantis for their
18justice and love of honour for the People,
19and to crown them with a gold crown according
20to the law; and the prytany secretary
21shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele and
22stand it in front of the Council chamber; and for inscribing
23the stele the board of administrators shall allocate
24[10 drachmas].
